- A financial plan should include a review of your goals and objectives, net worth, cash flow, investment portfolio, risk, estate plan, and taxes. These are the building blocks used to create projections and to design a plan for implementing strategies to achieve your goals.
- A financial plan allows you to understand how each financial decision you make affects your overall financial wellness. By knowing where you are today and where you would like to be in the future, we can create a path that helps balance enjoying today with planning for tomorrow. A plan also allows you to more easily adapt when life provides you different opportunities.
- A financial planner, also called an advisor, helps you identify your financial planning needs, understand your overall financial health, determine your priorities, and make decisions to best meet your life goals.
- As an active, professional woman, you may have the ability to do much of this yourself, but consider the exchange of your time and mental energy being taken away from your passions. Additionally, finances are emotional and can lead to illogical decisions, which can be alleviated with the help of an unbiased, educated advisor.
- Though the terms financial planner and financial advisor are not regulated, we have taken extensive training, are registered with the state, and adhere to the CFP® Board Code of Ethics and Practice Standards and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Fiduciary Oath.
- An RIA, or Registered Investment Advisor, is someone who is properly certified and registered to advise on investments and help people with them directly.
